Our biodegradable roast coffee and green bean packaging options are certified in compliance with the European certification standard (EN 13432).
The European standard EN 13432 requires that all biodegradable materials must completely biodegrade within six months.
Our compostable coffee packaging is certified through OK compost. Packaging or products that feature the OK compost INDUSTRIAL label are guaranteed compostable in an industrial composting plant, which applies to all components, inks, and additives.
Similarly, OK compost HOME guarantees complete compostability in garden compost heaps. These certifications are issued by the European certification body Din Certco, a conformity assessment body of TÜV Rheinland Group. They are identified by the Seedling logo.
The European standard EN 13432 requires that compostable materials must have disintegrated within 12 weeks of disposal.
Additionally, they must completely biodegrade within six months.
Our low-density polyethylene (LDPE) packaging is a fully recyclable and reusable alternative to traditional plastics. It displays the recycling symbol with a “4” in the middle, indicating the bag is 100% recyclable.
