Sustainable materials for coffee cups
Are you ready to switch to recyclable coffee cups? Protecting the environment is no longer a trend – it’s a necessity. With recyclable and compostable coffee cups, you can reduce your environmental impact while continuing to serve great coffee.
Sustainable coffee cups
Our sustainable coffee cup line features a number of different materials that are all renewable and environmentally friendly. See below for just a few of our eco-friendly options:

Kraft paper
Our unbleached kraft paper coffee cups are 100% natural, biodegradable, and compostable. They are made using FSC-certified wood pulp, which means they contribute to the sustainable management of forests. You can find out more information about our FSC certification here.
We offer both single and double wall kraft paper cups that can be customised with your branding. You can also order kraft paper coffee cup sleeves for added strength and protection.
Kraft paper is one of the easiest materials in the world to recycle, with local facilities in most coffee-consuming countries. Find out more information about kraft paper here.

PLA (Polylactic acid)
PLA coffee cups are made using a resin from renewable sources, such as corn, sugar cane, and sugar beet.
PLA is compatible with digital printing. It is also both fully recyclable and compostable, breaking down within 90 days in a commercial composting facility.

Sustainable water-based inks
You might not think so at first, but inks and labels can have a considerable impact on the carbon footprint of disposable coffee cups.
Our water-based inks are low in volatile organic compounds (VOCs). This means that while they are highly resistant to abrasion, water, and heat, they are also compostable and easy to remove for recycling.
These inks can be used on the cup, lid, and sleeves to maximise brand space and improve mindshare for your business.
