Are you ready to switch to sustainable coffee packaging?
Environmental awareness isn’t a trend – it’s a requirement. We offer a range of sustainable coffee bags, including recyclable, biodegradable, and compostable options.
Here are a few of our most popular solutions:
Sustainable coffee packaging materials
Our sustainable coffee packaging line features a number of different materials that are all renewable and environmentally friendly. See below for just some of our eco-friendly options:

Made from wood pulp, unbleached kraft paper is 100% natural, biodegradable, and compostable.
Our kraft paper bags for roasted coffee can be made with two or more layers to protect the beans from moisture, direct sunlight, oxygen, and other external factors that affect freshness.
Kraft paper is also one of the easiest materials in the world to recycle.

The appeal of rice paper lies in its texture, unique appearance, and sustainable origin. Our rice paper comes from renewable sources such as Qintan tree bark and bamboo.
Like kraft paper packaging, our rice paper coffee packaging can be made with two or more layers to provide additional protection for your beans.

Our eco-friendly, 100% recyclable coffee bags are made from low-density polyethylene (LDPE), a safe material that can be easily reused and recycled (#4). Flexible, durable, and lightweight, it’s widely used across the food and beverage industry.
Instead of the traditional three to four layers, these coffee bags have just two. They use less energy and raw material during production, and proper disposal is much easier for the end-user.
Customisation options for our LDPE packaging are endless, including a whole range of sizes, shapes, colours, and patterns.

PLA (polylactic acid)
PLA packaging is made using a resin that comes from renewable sources, such as corn, sugar cane, and sugar beet.
PLA is compatible with digital printing. Furthermore, it is both fully recyclable and compostable, breaking down within 90 days in a commercial facility.

Sustainable water-based inks
You might not think so at first, but inks and labels can have a considerable impact on a coffee bag’s carbon footprint.
Our water-based inks are low in volatile organic compounds (VOCs). This means that while they are highly resistant to abrasion, water, and heat, they are also compostable and easy to remove for recycling.
These inks can be used on both the inside and outside of our coffee bags to maximise brand space and improve mindshare for your business.
Additional coffee packaging features
Sustainability is not just about reducing packaging waste, but also cutting down on food waste. Our solutions extend the shelf life of your coffee by preserving its aroma and flavour for longer. Here are some additional features that ensure your coffee stays fresher for longer:

Degassing valve
Our recyclable degassing valves are BPA-free and reduce food waste by keeping your coffee fresh and delicious for longer.
These valves usually consist of five pieces: a cap, an elastic disc, a viscous layer, a polyethylene plate, and a paper filter.
They can be either visible from the outside or hidden within the packaging layers. Degassing valves allow CO2 to escape without letting any oxygen in, thus preventing oxidation and prolonging shelf life.

Resealable coffee packaging
There is more than one way to re-close a bag.
We offer ziplocks, velcro zippers, tin ties, and tear notches. The best option usually depends on the structure, size, and estimated life cycle of your coffee bags, as well as personal preference.
