How MTPak Coffee supports roasters
In our mission to remain sustainable, MTPak Coffee offers exciting and cost-effective opportunities for brands to evolve.
Why do coffee roasters choose MTPak Coffee
We offer stock and fully customised, sustainable packaging, such as compostable options and recyclable mono-materials, with low minimum order quantities (MOQs) starting at just 200 units. This allows roasters to easily scale, experiment with premium packaging, and reduce waste.

Flexible Scale for Small Brands
Our low MOQs and fast turnaround times allow micro-roasters to order custom-printed drip bags, pouches, boxes, and tubes without tying up capital in massive inventory.

Premium Formats & Storytelling
We offer premium finishes, digital printing, and custom structures that help roasters highlight their coffees and build a cohesive, narrative-driven brand identity.

Eco-Friendly Solutions
We offer compostable and recyclable materials, as well as eco-friendly components, such as recyclable degassing valves and resealable zippers. This ensures the entire pouch can be recycled together without separating parts.
Competitions & Webinars
Since launching in 2016, MTPak Coffee has been driven by a mission to promote a circular economy and create a more sustainable supply chain, from seed to cup. Our competitions are designed to recognise and reward sustainable brands in the specialty coffee industry.
2026 Worldβs Greatest Coffee Packaging
Behind every exceptional coffee brand is packaging that works just as hard as the coffee inside it.
The goal of the competition was to find the overall best packaging in the industry. This means not just good designs, but a combination of innovation, quality, sustainability, and commercial success.
From a highly competitive field of entries, Ember Goods captured the judgesβ attention with a design that delivers both visual impact and thoughtful execution.
Using Unique Packaging To Sell Coffee For A Higher Price
In this webinar, coffee industry leaders explained how the packaging you use, from formats to materials, alters consumer perceptions of value. This advice can help roasters justify higher prices to increase their profit margins.

2025 Packaging Reimagined Contest
We’re always looking out for innovative and boundary-pushing coffee packaging. That’s why we launched the Packaging Reimagined Contest: to find packaging that mixes innovative design, distinctive features, and sustainability credentials.
The goal was to reward roasters and coffee businesses who use packaging to forge the future of specialty coffee and set an example for the industry at large.
We also wanted to highlight some outstanding coffee packaging that can inspire design philosophies going forward.
Principles of Coffee Packaging Design: How Roasters Can Boost Sales
As the specialty coffee industry becomes more competitive, roasters need to find ways to stand out and boost sales. In this webinar, we heard from professionals from Silverskin Coffee Roasters, Birdy Coffee Co., and Metropolis Coffee Company.
They discussed their approach to packaging design, the best ways to stand out on retail shelves, and the main principles to keep in mind.
Using their advice, viewers can approach their coffee packaging design with proven methods for boosting sales and attracting customers.
2023 Packaging Design Awards
Coffee bags have become canvases: allowing brands to partner with local artists, draw attention to important environmental causes, and promote transparency in the specialty coffee sector. The MTPak Coffee Packaging Design Awards were designed to highlight, recognise, and reward the hard work and dedication involved in creating standout coffee packaging.
The Circular Economy Grant 2023
Promoting a circular economy is at the heart of MTPak Coffee. It is a model of production and consumption that involves sharing, leasing, reusing, repairing, refurbishing, and recycling existing materials and products for as long as possible. The Circular Economy Grant was created to reward one coffee roaster or coffee shop for their sustainability efforts.

PRF Sponsorships: Bringing coffee roasters closer to origin
MTPak Coffee has participated in all Producer & Roaster Forum (PRF) events since 2019. Weβve had the privilege of bringing coffee roasters from around the world closer to producers in Latin American countries, including Colombia, Guatemala, El Salvador, and Honduras.
Much like MTPak Coffee, PRF aims to unite coffee professionals from around the globe, helping them to nurture long-term commercial relationships and partnerships.
As a brand, weβve developed a robust and long-standing partnership with PRF, serving as a Gold Sponsor, the official STE Roaster Sponsor, and the Education and Cupping Room Sponsor for previous events.
Meeting with coffee roasters, producers, and visiting clients has become an essential part of our strategy to strengthen network opportunities and grow fruitful relationships.
As coffee packaging has a huge impact on the environment, weβre focusing on improving sustainability along the entire coffee supply chain. As a packaging company, we firmly believe we must join the discussion and actively support all coffee professionals along the supply chain.
Our goal in participating in PRF is to help coffee roasters travel to origin, source exceptional coffees, network, and build lasting relationships with farmers.
