Introducing the 2023 MTPak Coffee Packaging Design Awards

Celebrating the artistry of specialty coffee packaging

Packaging design is a critical component of any coffee brand’s marketing strategy. While the bag itself plays a crucial role in keeping the product fresh, its design communicates a brand’s aesthetic and personality.

As the specialty coffee industry continues to boom, coffee bag design has emerged as a valid form of art for the modern world. Coffee bags have become canvases: allowing brands to partner with local artists, draw attention to important environmental causes, and promote transparency in the specialty coffee sector.

This is why we’re proud to announce the launch of the 2023 MTPak Coffee Packaging Design Awards, designed to champion coffee bag design excellence in specialty coffee.

Whether the design of your coffee bag was inspired by the city you reside in, or by the farmers who grew the beans, we want to hear about it.

We’re encouraging specialty coffee roasters of all sizes to submit their coffee bag designs and share the inspiration behind them.

Judges will select an overall winner, five category winners, and several finalists.

Finalists of the 2023 MTPak Coffee Packaging Design Awards will receive:

The 2023 MTPak Coffee Packaging Design Awards were designed to highlight, recognise, and reward the hard work and dedication that goes into creating stand-out packaging.

As a sustainable packaging company, we want to help honour the extraordinary work we see in the field of coffee bag design every day.

Have you collaborated with a local artist? Does your packaging design highlight sustainability issues in your area? Do your coffee bags perfectly convey the personality of your brand?
