PureLock presents Producer of the Year 2025
Our brand-new competition will celebrate the most innovative, impactful, and sustainable coffee producers around the world β powered by PureLock.
What is Producer of the Year?
Powered by PureLock green coffee bags, Producer of the Year is the latest competition from MTPak Coffee. As an industry-leading coffee packaging manufacturer with a focus on environmental sustainability, we want to celebrate producers whose farms embody similar values.
Prizes
The overall winner of Producer of the Year will receive $5,000 USD in custom PureLock packaging. This includes PureLockβs hermetic packaging for green coffee β both 60kg liners for jute sacks and sample bags.

Alongside that, the winner will receive a special feature on PureLock and MTPak Coffee social media, along with a dedicated newsletter and editorial feature on the Education Centre.

All of our finalists will be featured on a dedicated page and offered the chance to be interviewed for a sequence of articles.

Frequently Asked Questions
Producer of the Year is a brand-new competition presented by PureLock, a new product range powered by MTPak Coffee. Weβre looking for genuinely outstanding coffee producers, and judging their applications based on criteria such as adaptability, cost management, innovative processing methods, and more.
The winner will receive $5,000 in custom PureLock green coffee packaging. They will also get a feature on PureLock and MTPak Coffeeβs social media pages, as well as in a newsletter and an editorial feature on the Education Centre Website.
All finalists will also get the chance to be interviewed for articles on the MTPak Education Centre.

The competition is open to individual producers around the world. Each application is only valid for one farm. If you have multiple farms, please submit a new application for each.
We are only allowing applications on behalf of individual farmers/producers. If cooperatives or exporters want to apply, they can submit multiple applications for multiple producers and their farms.Β
The Producer of the Year competition is open to roasters around the world, but we are prioritising entries from brands that we donβt already work with.
As such, if the winner is an existing MTPak customer, they will receive half of the prize amount below ($2,500 in custom green coffee packaging).

- Responsible management of natural resources (e.g. soil quality, water usage, shade trees)
- Environmentally sustainable operations
- Innovation in coffee processing
- Cost management & optimisationΒ
- Climate adaptation & resilience
- Training & education to improve farm processes (e.g. with sustainability)
- Best practices with storage & quality preservation
Applications for the awards are open to specialty coffee producers from around the world.

Terms & Conditions
- Entries for Producer of the Year close at 11:59PM on 19th March 2025.
- Strictly one entry per person.
- In order to be considered for the prize, entrants must full out the entire entry form.
- Judges will select one overall winner and five category finalists. Judges’ decisions are final and at their own discretion.
- The prize is non-transferable.
- The overall winner and category finalists will be notified via email within 7 days of the closing date and must respond within 14 days in order to claim their prize.
- All content (including quotes and images) submitted becomes the property of MTPak Coffee and can be used in articles on the website or across social media platforms.
